07 Jun A United Voice for Flow Batteries Towards a Flow Batteries Association
Organised by CLERENS and the International Flow Battery Forum, the webinar set the scene to establish a representation for flow batteries at the EU level.
The webinar “A United Voice for Flow Batteries” – held in two sessions on Thursday 17 December 2020 – gathered more than 50 participants from all over the world, getting together the main players in a constructive discussion for the future of the sector. The participants expressed their views on the future of flow batteries and contributed to identifying the main challenges and the opportunities for a stronger flow batteries representation.
First of all, it was clearly identified by the participants that no EU-wide representation was a major drawback for flow batteries and therefore supported to create an EU-body representing the sector, in the frame of a larger international framework.
The webinar was the occasion to exchange views on the main challenges and opportunities for flow batteries development and representation in Europe and around the world.
